WatersEdge Solutions is recruiting a highly driven and entrepreneurial Branch Manager to build and operate a USD-based business within a global market. About the Role
This is a self-starter role for someone ready to build their own book of business from day one. Initially, youll engage prospective clients via remote meetings, establishing strong relationships with decision-makers in the tech or medical sectors. Once your pipeline is established, international travel will follow to deepen partnerships and drive long-term growth. Youll operate under the guidance of executive leadership and collaborate with internal sales and operations teams. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to move abroad or continue operating from South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and sign new business opportunities in the tech or medical logistics space

• Build lasting relationships with global clients through video calls and in-person visits

• Act as a strategic advisor on international deployment of hardware or medical devices

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless import and compliance solutions

• Manage the growth and profitability of your own international business unit

• Recruit and lead a small internal team as your client base scales

• Maintain high service standards and client satisfaction across engagements

What Youll Bring

• Outstanding academic background (strong high school and university results)

• Professional qualification or background in CA, LLB, Engineering, or MBA

• Entrepreneurial spirit with strong commercial instincts

• Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to operate independently and drive results under minimal supervision

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in logistics, trade compliance, or supply chain

• Familiarity with US or European market dynamics
