About the Role
We are seeking a talented Developer Intern to join our team on a 24-month contract in Johannesburg. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced developers, and gain hands-on experience in low-code/no-code development.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in low-code/no-code development projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
- Develop basic understanding of UML or basic architectural concepts
- Implement UI/UX awareness in applications
- Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of web applications
Requirements
- Matric BSc / BTech Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer/Information Technology Or related fields
- No experience required
- Knowledge of lowcode/no-code development
- Understanding of UML or basic architectural concepts
- Basic UI/UX awareness
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding on one or more programming languages: C#, Python, JavaScript, Java, Angular and React JS or SQL
- Basic understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, REST APIs
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools; Power Apps, Power Automate, or an advantage
- Understanding of atabases (SQL Server, MySQL, or similar)
- Understanding of Java build tools such as Tomcat, JBoss
