We’re on the hunt for a high-energy Marketing Executive who’s ready to lead, inspire, and set the course for our talented team of marketing experts. As the Marketing Executive, you’ll be the architect of demand generation strategies that align perfectly with our business and brand goals.
Your role? It’s pivotal. You’ll collaborate with top-tier management and external partners, bringing your negotiation skills to the table to balance business needs and stakeholder interests. With an annual marketing budget of R80 million to R100 million at your fingertips, you’ll shape the marketing landscape.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Marketing Strategy & Business Development:
- Craft strategic guidance for Marketing Plans, with a focus on Customer Acquisition
- Lead the orchestration of comprehensive marketing plans
- Drive ROI-focused strategies that align with our business objectives
- Collaborate on Business Development strategies with the CCO
Marketing Planning & Messaging:
- Lead marketing planning for key initiatives
- Craft compelling messaging with our Creative Head
- Master ATL media selection
- Excel in digital media and ROI optimization
- Handle supplier negotiations like a pro
Team Mentorship:
- Mentor and guide a team of 20 senior marketing managers and specialists.
- Collaborate closely with our Creative Head on strategic projects.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Proven B2C marketing expertise
- Strong grasp of messaging and creative strategies
- In-depth knowledge of your Lines of Business
- Exceptional leadership and negotiation skills
- Adaptability in a matrix-structured organization.
- Tolerance for ambiguity
- Profound leadership and negotiation capabilities
- Hands-on problem-solving
- Excellent multitasking and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills
- Minimum of 10 years of marketing or advertising experience
- Track record of leading diverse teams
- Thought leadership in marketing
- Deep familiarity with digital-first marketing
- Strong project management skills
