About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant / Administrator to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow with a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the HR Manager with all HR administration duties pertaining to 70 staff
- Post job adverts and review CV’s
- Coordinate online interviews
- Liaise with Line Managers
- Assist with Background checks
- Assist with Hiring and Onboarding
- Maintain personnel files (including exit – resignations and dismissals)
- Manage staff hours
- Co-ordinate training
- Assist with Performance management / disciplinary procedure
- Assist with CCMA matters
- Assist with Probation hearings
- Create and distribute newsletters
- Provide payroll information required from Payroll Team
- Attend Manager meetings
- Arrange Managers seminars
- Administer medical aid benefits
- Assist with the updating of policies and procedures and company manuals
- Manage Leave days
- Deal with complaints from Sales Consultants (including gifts / anniversaries)
