About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our client’s fast-growing company in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will lead and ensure operational excellence across all regions with over 2000 employees, overseeing and leading the full HR and IR function in a fast-paced national workforce. This is a unique opportunity for a resilient person with strong leadership skills to make a significant impact on the company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Manage HR team responsible for complexed industrial relations matters
- Lead disciplinary processes, consultations, and hearings etc.
- CCMA representation
- Ensure compliance with all legislation
- Recruitment and talent management
- HR administration and compliance including audits
- Employment engagement and culture
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (essential)
- Minimum 3 years experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR position
- Proven experience managing large workforces
- Strong, resilient personality with the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
- Advanced IR knowledge and experience handling complex cases
- Strong knowledge of SA labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSA)
- Experienced managing or supervising an HR team
- Excellent communication, conflict management, and organisational skills
- High level of Confidentiality
