You will work closely with corporate and financial institutional clients, supporting relationship growth while safeguarding risk and compliance standards.

In this role, you will contribute to business development, credit analysis, operational processes, and post-lending oversight. Youll play a key part in maintaining client trust, strengthening portfolio quality, and ensuring regulatory integrity.

What Youll Do

• Prepare marketing materials and maintain strong relationships with corporate and financial institutional clients.

• Collect, verify, and assess client information in line with internal and South African KYC and due diligence requirements.

• Identify new business opportunities, attract deposits, support financing solutions, and prepare credit applications.

• Conduct periodic monitoring of credit status, risk ratings, and post-lending supervision activities.

• Escalate deteriorating assets, excesses, covenant breaches, and any adverse developments promptly.

• Produce analysis reports on assigned topics.

• Support sales efforts and cross-selling opportunities across the branchs product suite.

• Operate banking IT systems to initiate, complete, and route operational tasks.

• Assist in drafting departmental policies, procedures, and workflows.

• Perform additional duties as required by the Department Head.

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in finance or accounting; experience within a Chinese bank is advantageous.

• Strong financial and credit analysis capabilities, with sound judgment in complex scenarios.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to Bloomberg or similar tools is beneficial.

• Fluency in English; Chinese language proficiency is advantageous.
