What’s in it for you?
You’ll lead a small team, implement Infrastructure-as-Code, drive automation, and embed observability practices while ensuring business continuity and compliance with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, automation, and lifecycle management of hosting environments across AWS and on-premise infrastructure
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) for automated deployments
• Establish monitoring and observability frameworks to maintain 99.7% uptime
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and release automation
• Enforce ISO 27001:2022 technical controls and secure configurations
• Manage access reviews, patching cycles, and vulnerability remediation
• Oversee AWS services (EC2, VPC, Fargate, RDS, SQS) and on-premise systems (Linux, NGINX, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Maintain domains, DNS, and MS365 environments
• Drive documentation-first culture with SOPs and architecture diagrams
• Mentor and lead the Systems Administration team, fostering accountability and innovation

Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:

• Formal tertiary qualification in IT or related field advantageous
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, ITIL, or ISO27001 Lead Implementer preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years in infrastructure or system administration
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role
• Minimum 2 years working with AWS and DevOps practices
• Experience with ISO27001 implementation and compliance preferred
• Demonstrable experience in infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, scripting)
• Familiarity with CAB processes, patching cycles, and disaster recovery frameworks

Skills:

• Strategic understanding of infrastructure and DevOps principles
• Strong knowledge of automation, observability, and cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to balance operational stability with innovation
