Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies Orient and Train: Provide appropriate orientation for the colleagues when joining the department and ensure that colleagues receive ongoing information, technology, and reference materials necessary to perform their jobs. Training is an ongoing activity, crucial for new staff as well as for long-term staff who take on new responsibilities or who experience changes in the way their existing duties need to be performed. Those who take on new responsibilities or experience job changes typically need additional direction and guidance for some time until the new work becomes more familiar. Discipline: Address performance problems through corrective action. Coordination: Work with other departments to resolve any issues related to receiving, such as inventory discrepancies or damaged products.
Requirements:
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. One year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or receiving supervision within the FMCG sector. Previously worked on Syspro Proven experience in a supervisory role in the FMCG industry, particularly in a warehouse or receiving operations. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and supply chain processes. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure to meet deadlines. Proficient in warehouse management systems and other inventory control software. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations Computer Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
