Matric Leadership and Supervisory Skills: Ability to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and provide clear instructions. Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in verifying quantities, identifying discrepancies, and inspecting incoming goods. Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations for inventory counts and quantity verification. Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS – Syspro) for data entry and inventory tracking. Communication Skills: Clear communication with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other departments regarding receiving issues and updates. Work Environment: Primarily based in a warehouse environment, often requiring physical activity like lifting and moving packages. Exposure to various weather conditions if working in an outdoor receiving area.
