Duties:
Leadership and Servant Leadership Leading by example, focusing on empowering teams, and facilitating collaboration. Helping teams adopt Agile principles and practices. Ensuring that the ART operates efficiently without dictating or micromanaging. Facilitation Skills Leading key ceremonies such as PI (Program Increment) Planning, ART syncs, retrospectives, and system demos. Fostering collaboration and ensuring that team members engage productively during meetings. Program Management Managing the flow of value across multiple teams within the ART. Coordinating dependencies and resolving obstacles that impede progress. Keeping track of key milestones and ensuring alignment across teams to meet deadlines. Communication and Stakeholder Management Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with stakeholders, team members, and executives. Ensuring alignment between business goals and team work by maintaining transparent communication with all parties involved. Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution Addressing issues that arise within the ART, from team dynamics to technical problems. Helping teams remove impediments and resolve conflicts to maintain the flow of work. Agile and SAFe Methodology Expertise A deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, particularly SAFe. Knowledge of A gile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and knowing how to scale them for larger teams. Risk Management Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the ART`s delivery or the overall program. Proactively managing risks to minimize delays or disruptions. Continuous Improvement and Coaching Helping teams and the ART continuously improve through retrospectives and lessons learned. Coaching teams on Agile practices, driving them to adopt a mindset of continuous improvement. Metrics and Reporting Gathering and analyzing metrics to measure ART performance, identifying areas for improvement. Reporting progress to stakeholders through various dashboards, reports, or presentations. Technical Knowledge (optional but beneficial) While not always a requirement, understanding the technical aspects of the work being done helps in managing the ART more effectively, especially when discussing dependencies or technical obstacles. Emotional Intelligence The ability to understand and manage your own emotions and those of others to improve communication, relationships, and the work environment. Building trust and maintaining a positive, productive atmosphere within the ART.
