As a Sage Implementation Consultant, you will lead full-cycle Sage ERP implementations for new and existing clients. You will analyse current processes, gather requirements, configure the system, and guide end users through testing, go-live and post-implementation support. This role is ideal for a SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA/ACCA article clerk or newly qualified accountant who enjoys problem-solving, technology and working closely with clients.
You will join a specialist consulting team that partners with mid-size and enterprise organisations across multiple industries. The environment is fast-paced, professional and collaborative, with plenty of exposure to different business models and finance teams. You will gain deep product expertise, project experience, and the chance to grow into a senior consulting or leadership role.

What Youll Do
Lead and manage end-to-end Sage ERP implementation projects for new and existing clients
Conduct detailed business process analysis and requirements gathering with finance and operational stakeholders
Configure Sage solutions to meet client-specific business, reporting and control requirements
Prepare functional specifications, project plans and status reports
Facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure issues are tracked and resolved
Deliver user training, go-live assistance and post-implementation support
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and system optimisation
Collaborate closely with internal technical teams and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
Completed or in-progress articles through SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA or ACCA
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and month-end processes
High level of accuracy, analytical thinking and attention to detail
Excellent communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a consulting environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience in system implementations, ERP, or consulting roles advantageous
Exposure to ERP systems such as Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or SAP Business One beneficial
Willingness to travel to client sites for workshops, meetings and go-live support when required
