Job Description

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Events Experience Delivery and Logistics Sales and Partnerships Support Marketing and Brand Promotion Vendor Management Budget and Financial Management Logistics and Operational Coordination Reporting and Compliance PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, coordinates and executes internal and external marketing, and partnership events (such as trade shows, exhibitions, launches, activations, sponsorships, conferences and client events) Delivers seamless end-to-end events, including venue coordination, branding, registrations, guest management, on-site logistics and post-event close-out Delivers a consistently high-quality client experience aligned to 4Racings brand standards and commercial objectives Coordinates event timelines, run sheets and stakeholder communication to ensure flawless execution Supports the marketing team with event-driven lead generation, client engagement and pipeline development initiatives Assists in identifying, developing and managing strategic partnerships related to events, sponsorships and activations Coordinates and supports marketing campaigns linked to events, promotions and sales initiatives Executes and monitors consistent brand representation across all event materials, collateral, digital platforms and promotional items Works with internal teams and agencies to develop event-related marketing content (digital, print, social, email) Sources, appoints and manages event-related vendors and suppliers (e.g. venues, production, catering, branding, logistics, agencies) Negotiates pricing, service levels and contractual terms to ensure value for money Develops and manages event and marketing budgets in line with approved financial guidelines Tracks expenditure, raises purchase orders, manages invoices and allocates costs accurately Monitors return on investment (ROI) for events, sponsorships and marketing initiatives Coordinates all operational logistics related to events, including transport, accommodation, equipment, storage and on-site setup and breakdown Ensures health, safety and operational requirements are adhered to during events Prepares post-event and campaign reports, including performance metrics, insights, lessons learned and recommendations Maintains accurate documentation for events, contracts, budgets and compliance requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE: National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Marketing / Communications / Events Management / related field 3 years experience in events / marketing coordination / sales / partnership roles Experience marketing venues, experiences, hospitality / lifestyle offerings / B2B / B2C Proven ability to liaise and collaborate with all stakeholders including riders, clients, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders Strong event planning and coordination skills Sales and commercial awareness Marketing coordination and brand management capability Excellent organisational and project management skills Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills Budgeting and financial control capability Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays to support event schedules Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solution-focused in fast-paced, live-event environments.
