Job Summary

Responsibilities: Continuously maintain and improve reports and dashboards to ensure their accuracy, relevance, and alignment with evolving business requirements. Interpret business needs and translate them into effective data models, reporting solutions, and technical requirements. Design and implement advanced SQL queries across both normalized and star-schema database structures. Build and manage Power BI semantic models and develop insightful, interactive reports and dashboards. Partner with data engineers to ensure robust data architecture and maintain the integrity of data pipelines. Conduct thorough data validation across layers to maintain consistency and accuracy. Lead the configuration and enforcement of data security protocols, including Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI. Design and maintain exception-based reporting and develop trend visualizations to support proactive decision-making. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption Education: Min 5 years experience in Data analysis or BI Reporting Proficient in SQL and Dax (PowerBI) Strong experience in designing and maintaining data models and reporting environments Familiarity with modern data platforms and concepts (eg, Data lakes, CI/CD and modern data warehousing. Advance Excel capabilities including pivot tables, lookup functions and power query Apply now! –

Are you a data expert with a passion for turning complexity into clarity? Our client—a well-established financial services company with a forward-thinking data culture—is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead reporting and analytics efforts that directly shape business strategy. About the Role This is a senior-level, impact-driven role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, business insights, and dashboard development. Reporting into the leadership team, you’ll be responsible for driving reporting excellence, building intuitive data models, and supporting cross-functional teams with decision-grade insights. Bonus: you’ll also help refine the data stack as the business continues to modernise its infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Own and enhance critical dashboards and reports used across the business Develop semantic models and advanced reports using Power BI (embedded included) Write robust SQL queries across normalised and star-schema environments Work with Data Engineers to ensure pipeline quality and model accuracy Validate data across multiple layers (bronze, silver, gold) Define and implement Row-Level Security and other governance controls Lead the creation of exception-based and trend-driven visual reporting Support user testing, training, and stakeholder enablement Skills & Experience Must-Have: 5 years in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence roles Expert-level SQL and DAX skills Power BI pro with experience building and managing models Strong grasp of modern data concepts (data lakes, CI/CD, warehouse layers) Advanced Excel capabilities (lookup functions, pivot tables, Power Query) Clear communicator who can engage both technical and business teams Independent worker with a high attention to detail and analytical mindset Preferred: Exposure to Microsoft Fabric Experience documenting business rules and managing data quality Background in financial services, insurance, or regulated industries Company Culture & Values Insight-Driven Decisions – Data leads the way Clarity in Complexity – Make the complex understandable Accountability & Autonomy – Own your work, own your impact Precision & Integrity – Trust is built on clean, accurate data Ready to help shape the future of data in financial services? Job Summary

PBT Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and enable meaningful insights across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple stakeholders to understand business needs, design solutions, and deliver high-quality analytics and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and enjoys solving complex business problems through innovative data approaches. Key Responsibilities: Disruptive Innovation & Data Analytics Collaborate with business units and domain experts to understand challenges and identify data-driven opportunities. Elicit requirements and translate them into actionable analytical deliverables. Explore, clean, and transform data to extract valuable insights. Develop and maintain analytics solutions using tools such as Power BI , SSRS , SAP BW , and within the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment. Utilise structured development cycles and agile methodologies for solution delivery. Respond to ad hoc data requests and contribute to operational and strategic decision-making. Drive innovation by identifying new ways data can add business value. Share knowledge and insights to strengthen both technical expertise and business understanding within the team. Stay abreast of analytics best practices and contribute to process improvements. Ensure all reporting and analytics outputs are aligned with stakeholder expectations and business objectives. Data Visualisation & Reporting Design and develop visually engaging and informative dashboards and reports. Follow best practices in report development, focusing on clarity, usability, and performance. Ensure compliance with data governance, development standards, and internal procedures. Demonstrate hands-on experience in crafting dashboards that translate complex data into intuitive insights. Required Skills & Experience: 5 years’ experience in a data analysis or BI role, with a strong business orientation. Proficiency in data visualisation tools, especially Microsoft Power BI . Solid understanding of SQL , data modelling , and business intelligence platforms such as SSRS and SAP BW . Experience working in cloud environments , preferably Microsoft Azure . Proven ability to work with complex datasets and produce actionable business insights. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
