Job Summary

PBT is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a dynamic team working on strategic data initiatives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong business engagement skills, deep data analysis expertise, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights and documentation. This role requires close collaboration with developers, business stakeholders, and data teams to ensure high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document data requirements. Conduct in-depth data profiling and analysis to support business needs. Translate business requirements into Source to Target Mapping (SSTM) documentation. Collaborate with Data Engineers to define transformation rules and ensure alignment with business logic. Validate and test Power BI reports against specifications. Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements to data pipelines and data quality. Ensure compliance with enterprise data architecture and governance standards. Present findings and insights through clear, concise reports and presentations. Support data model alignment and reference data mapping in collaboration with Data Modelers. Identify and address data quality issues, ensuring data usability and integrity. Stay informed on new data assets, tools, and trends to drive innovation and efficiency. Required Skills & Experience 8 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services sector. Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data from multiple sources. Proficiency in Power BI for report validation and testing. Demonstrated experience with Source to Target Mapping (SSTM) and formal documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious and detail-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with enterprise data models and metadata management. Job Summary

Responsibilities: Continuously maintain and improve reports and dashboards to ensure their accuracy, relevance, and alignment with evolving business requirements. Interpret business needs and translate them into effective data models, reporting solutions, and technical requirements. Design and implement advanced SQL queries across both normalized and star-schema database structures. Build and manage Power BI semantic models and develop insightful, interactive reports and dashboards. Partner with Data Engineers to ensure robust data architecture and maintain the integrity of data pipelines. Conduct thorough data validation across layers to maintain consistency and accuracy. Lead the configuration and enforcement of data security protocols, including Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI. Design and maintain exception-based reporting and develop trend visualizations to support proactive decision-making. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption. Education: Min 5 years’ experience in data analysis or BI reporting Proficient in SQL and Dax (Power BI) Strong experience in designing and maintaining data models and reporting environments Familiarity with modern data platforms and concepts (e.g., data lakes, CI/CD and modern data warehousing Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookup functions and Power Query Apply now!
