Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager in the Finance department based in Constantia Kloof.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and have flexible work hours.
- BCom in Accounting.
- 5 to 10 years experience as an accountant.
- 5+ years management experience.
- 3 to 5 years SAP proficiency.
- Relevant legislation and governance matters relating to risk and finance knowledge.
- Chartered accountant would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Financial management of all daily, monthly and annual financial functions.
- Manage debtors and creditors to ensure sufficient working capital.
- Optimise the use of IT systems to improve efficiency in the transaction process.
- Develop and manage the business plan for the area being managed.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop business plans.
- Conduct performance management and monitor performance continuously.
- Accomplish financial objectives for the department.
- Manage financial risks to mitigate threats to the financial integrity of the company.
- Implement effective systems for performance measurements for risk management.
