Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager in the Finance department based in Constantia Kloof.

Requirements:

• Willingness to travel and have flexible work hours.
• BCom in Accounting.
• 5 to 10 years experience as an accountant.
• 5+ years management experience.
• 3 to 5 years SAP proficiency.
• Relevant legislation and governance matters relating to risk and finance knowledge.
• Chartered accountant would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Financial management of all daily, monthly and annual financial functions.
• Manage debtors and creditors to ensure sufficient working capital.
• Optimise the use of IT systems to improve efficiency in the transaction process.
• Develop and manage the business plan for the area being managed.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop business plans.
• Conduct performance management and monitor performance continuously.
• Accomplish financial objectives for the department.
• Manage financial risks to mitigate threats to the financial integrity of the company.
• Implement effective systems for performance measurements for risk management.
