About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract engagement. As a key member of our data technology team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures, integrating data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance. If you have a strong background in enterprise Microsoft ecosystems and excellent problem-solving skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures
Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance
Develop and maintain Data Warehouses and Operational Data Stores (ODS)
Perform data modelling and optimise storage and retrieval
Build and support reports using SSRS and Power BI
Work with cloud platforms (Azure primarily; AWS exposure beneficial)
Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders
Provide ongoing support and maintenance
Work within Agile teams using Azure DevOps

Requirements

Strong experience with Microsoft data technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is beneficial but not required
Strong analytical and technical skills

Qualifications
