Job Description

Responsibilities:

Perform advanced Unix system administration tasks and develop custom scripts and programs to automate
processes and enhance system functionality.
Manage network configurations and Samba services for seamless file sharing between Unix and Windows systems.
Administer and maintain CTree database systems ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
Oversee the management and operation of three Solaris Zones and three Global Zones, ensuring high availability and security.
Administer three Cygwin servers, providing SSH/SCP services to facilitate secure file transfers and remote access.
Extract data from HiPortfolio systems, ensuring accurate and timely data availability for business processes.
Perform file transformations between Unix and Window environments, ensuring compatibility and data integrity.
Manage SFTP services and maintain file lineage to track file movements and ensure secure data transfers.
Provide Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Support and Maintenance, ensuring high
levels of service availability and responsiveness.
Offer 24/7 premium support with clearly defined service priority levels and
turnaround times.
Engage in relationship management activities to foster strong client relationships
and ensure customer satisfaction. Implement a service credit/penalty methodology
to address service level breaches.
Produce sample service level reports to demonstrate compliance with agreed-upon
SLAs.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in Unix system administration and programming.
Strong knowledge of networking principles and Samba management.
Experience with CTree database management.
Proficiency in managing Solaris Zones and Global Zones.
Familiarity with Cygwin servers and SSH/SCP services.
Experience in data extraction and file transformation between Unix and Windows
systems.
Expertise in managing SFTP services and maintaining file lineage.
