About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Buyer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a Technical Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring technical products, equipment, and parts for our engineering fabrication industry clients. You will work closely with our sales team to identify customer requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure technical products, equipment, and parts from suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and customers
- Conduct product testing and validation to ensure quality and compliance
- Manage inventory and stock levels to optimize logistics and reduce costs
Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience as a Technical Buyer in the Engineering | Fabrication Industry
- Strong knowledge of Metal Industry Equipment and Parts
- Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required
Qualifications
- Grade 12 qualification required
- Relevant Tertiary Education (no specific degree or certification mentioned)
Salary & Benefits
