About the Role
Our automotive dealer client based in Roodepoort currently has a vacancy for an experienced and qualified Service Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling resources to achieve profit requirements, enhancing customer relations, and ensuring excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Control resources at a level commensurate with profit requirements and enhance customer relations
- Maximise departmental profitability through the sale of labour and associated products to franchise and non-franchise customers
- Supervise staff, manage performance, discipline, and other staff management related functions
- Ensure Service Department achieves budget objectives through daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and control of accounts, operating controls, and composite figures
- Ensure efficient operation of the Service Department through efficient labour utilization, productivity, and sales
Requirements
- Qualified Technician (Motor Mechanic related Trade Qualification)
- Relevant post-matric qualification in Management will be an advantage
- Fully computer literate – Microsoft package
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent people management skills
