About the Role

Air Products South Africa Limited is seeking a skilled Gas Technician to join our Technical department in Kempton Park. The successful candidate will report to the Technician Supervisor and be responsible for performing installation and maintenance activities on operational sites effectively, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance activities as directed;
• Reporting on maintenance, project, and safety activities performed;
• Assisting with required safety and departmental systems;
• Compliance with required Safety systems and protocols within APSAP and customer sites.

Requirements

• A Matric certificate with Maths and Science or N3 qualification with technical subjects;
• A completed NTC2/3 qualification;
• Must be a Red Seal Trade Tested Artisan (preferably a Millwright or Fitter);
• Registered SACGA-accredited Gas Installer;
• Must have 3 – 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance work in a gas environment;
• Experience with cryogenic gases (advantageous);
