Job Summary
Employer Description A multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that undertakes civil and building projects. Job Description You will be reporting to the Director and your responsibilities will include: Provide expertise and supervision utilizing more than one competence on projects of varying scope and complexity. Provide expertise and supervision with completing the measurement of quantities for input into cost plans, cost estimates and bills of quantities Provide expertise and supervision with the preparation of tender documentation. Provide expertise and supervision with preparing, pricing and negotiating change orders with clients and contractors. Provide expertise and supervision with implementing, maintaining and monitoring cost control procedures throughout the duration of a project. Comply with all QA requirements. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying Registered PrQS with SACQSP for at least 3 years Skills 3 years experience post registration as PrQS Experience in WinQS & DimX, large-scale public sector; commercial or retail new builds & working knowledge of JBCC and other types of contracts. Drivers Licence Willing to travel within KZN
