Senior Grain Trader to join a dynamic team in Lichtenburg. Work closely with the Grain Marketing Division, managing the profitable buying and selling of grain while contributing to the business continued success in the agricultural sector. The Senior Grain Trader is responsible for managing transactions, hedging of grain stock, and providing guidance to clients regarding hedging and pricing strategies in the Grain Trading division. Gather and interpret market information to formulate market views and liaise with producers, buyers, other traders and silo staff. Main responsibilities: Managing the Grain Trading division to conduct profitable trading of grain Managing the logistics surrounding the execution of transaction Providing support to clients regarding hedging and pricing strategy Collecting, studying and interpreting market information to formulate market prospects and communicate this information Liaising with producers, buyers, other traders and silo staff Handling customer enquiries Minimum requirements : Grade 12 certificate Three (3) years relevant experience Basic knowledge of risk management and trading strategies Knowledge of Safex trading Required Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Sound decision-making ability Effective time management and organisational skills If you are a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in the grain trading industry, then this is the right place for you!
