About the Role
RPO Recruitment is pleased to present a unique opportunity for a skilled Resident Engineer to join our client, a well-established engineering consulting firm based in Pretoria. Our client is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the construction of a new Water Works project near Thohoyandou, Limpopo Province.
Key Responsibilities
- On-site construction monitoring and quality assurance
- Ensuring compliance with contract documentation, specifications, and GCC 2015
- Oversight of labour-intensive methods and participation targets
- Monitoring health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Reporting progress to the Engineer and project stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience within the construction industry
- BTech or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in construction monitoring of civil and reinforced concrete works
- Sound knowledge and practical application of GCC 2015
- Experience with Labour-Intensive Construction and Contract Participation Goals (CPGs)
Qualifications
- Completed BTech or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering
