About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Consultant to join our team in Menlyn. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on SAP-related projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP systems, including release management, database management, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate basis tasks with SAP Basis/SAP ECS/Linux and other teams
- Check tasks are successfully implemented
- OS upgrades and changes Linux team
- Assist and guide with performance issues
- Understand interfaces and be able to resolve issues
- Understand backup and restores processes
- In-depth knowledge of SAP environments (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Basis, SAP Fiori, etc.)
- Experience with SAP AI (SAP Joule)
- Troubleshooting SAP systems and resolving performance issues
- Analyse data and recommend improvements
- Strong skills in planning, execution, and monitoring SAP-related projects
Requirements
- Release Management STMS SAP Charm process
- SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management
- Experience with SAP Basis, architecture, and integration
- SAP Basis skills (installation, configuration, and support)
- Hands-on SAP Basis Operations skills
- SAP HANA experience
- Understanding of database management (e.g., HANA, Oracle)
- Coordinate basis tasks with SAP Basis/SAP ECS/Linux and other teams
- All Basis task with SAP Basis/SAP ECS
Qualifications
- Basis experience 10 years
- SAP Basis Certification
