About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Leader to join our team at the Mall of Africa in Midrand. As an integral part of our Old Khaki store, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the retail environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all aspects of a store
- Maximize turnover and profit by monitoring stock-related risks
- Minimize shrinkage by implementing effective loss prevention strategies
- Deliver exceptional customer service through our customer experience strategy
- Lead talent selection, training, coaching, retention, and recognition initiatives for all team members
- Implement innovative visual merchandising to optimize sales
- Maintain health and safety practices in the workplace
- Optimize team performance by creating an inspiring environment
- Align team members with our Company culture and values
Requirements
- 3 years of management retail experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and flexibility in dealing with change management
- Honesty in handling cash or finances
- Passion for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction

- Matric or Equivalent
