About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Researcher / Market Analyst to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our construction industry team, you will play a crucial role in identifying market opportunities and supporting business strategy through your expertise in market research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify Market Opportunities: Recognising gaps in companys operating environment where its services can be expanded and improved
  • Evaluate Market Costing: Benchmarking to align company budget estimates to actual market costs
  • Understand Client Behaviour: Gaining insights into client preferences, engagement with the company and decision-making processes
  • Evaluate Marketing Strategies: Measuring the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies to optimise marketing efforts and budget allocation
  • Forecast Market Trends: Predicting future market trends to stay ahead of the curve and make proactive business decisions
  • Improve Service Delivery: Using market research to inform the development of new services or the improvement of existing ones to better meet client needs
  • Set Realistic Targets: Establishing achievable goals for growth, and client service based on market research findings
  • Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential risks in the companys operating environment and developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Support company Strategy: Providing a solid foundation of market knowledge to support overall business strategy and long-term planning
  • Enhance Client Experience: Using feedback and insights from market research to enhance the customer experience

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • NQF 6 or higher qualification in a related field will be beneficial
  • Certifications (must have at least ONE of the following): Professional Researcher Certification (PRC), Certified Market Research Analyst (CMRA), Market Research Society (MRS) Advanced Certificate, Gartner/Forrester Certified Analyst, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Competitive Intelligence Professional (CIP)
