About the Role
The Building Company is seeking an experienced Head of Department to join our team in Mpumalanga. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing sales turnover and providing support to the Sales Team. You will work closely with customers, maintaining stock levels, running status reports, and conducting new product surveys. Your primary objective is to determine customer requirements, setting monthly targets and conducting sales meetings. You will also set annual budgets and sales targets, as well as provide quotations, place requisitions/buy-outs, generate invoices, stipulate credit limits, and liaise with despatch.

- Maintain Stock levels
- Run Status reports
- Conduct New product surveys
- Provide Quotations
- Follow up Deal Customer Queries and provide Thumbs Up service
- Determine Customer Requirements
- Setting Monthly Targets
- Conducting Sales Meetings
- Setting Annual budget and Sales targets
- Non-stock items quotations
- Place Requisitions /Buy-outs
- Generate Invoices
- Stipulate Credit Limits
- Liaise with Despatch
- Organise Staff Schedules
- Enforce Discipline
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- 5 years sales experience
- 6 months Kerridge experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
- Knowledge of the general building materials sales environment will be an advantage
