About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in New Zealand. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, while also providing expert care and support to those who need it most.
Key Responsibilities
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others in the workplace
- Be mindful of how actions or inaction may impact the health and safety of others
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety procedures and comply with relevant policies and instructions
- Identify, report, and assist in managing hazards, risks, injuries, illnesses, and incidents including near misses
- Eliminate or mitigate health and safety risks where reasonably practicable
- Consult with managers or health and safety representatives regarding identified risks
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate in New Zealand
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the Occupational Health scope of practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Demonstrated competence with computer systems
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate in New Zealand
