Bookkeeper (Head Office) You are an accurate, dependable, and results-oriented Bookkeeper, with a passion for detail and a commitment to service excellence You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper filing and storage of invoices, creditors’ documents, and applications. Reconciling accounts, matching payments and statements, and assisting with monthly reporting will form part of your duties. Aside from this, you will process invoices, manage petty cash, and handle payments, as well as oversee SARS compliance for VAT submissions. Preparing payroll and employee payments, and assisting with ad hoc finance administration, as well as supporting the Group Financial Manager in ensuring effective financial control across the group, will be part of your role. Along with your Matric Certificate, you hold a National Certificate in Bookkeeping (ICB or equivalent, NQF Level 4) and have 3 years of bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in accounting systems (Sage experience advantageous) as well as excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team will set you apart from the rest. You bring your strong sense of accuracy and planning to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Your results-oriented mindset drives you to meet goals while maintaining reliability and dependability.
