Nigel: Production Controller

Roles and Responsibilities Matric/ Certificate or formal training in SolidWorks (advantageous) 35 years experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or steel/metal works Strong SolidWorks proficiency (modelling, assemblies, workshop/fabrication drawings) Hands-on exposure to steel fabrication processes: welding, cutting, bending, tolerances Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure manufacturability Key Competencies Strong understanding of how 3D models translate into physical components Ability to identify and correct design or manufacturing inconsistencies Excellent communication with workshop and production teams Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong planning ability Preferred Experience in end-to-end steel fabrication environments Previous experience in production planning or quality control Knowledge of coatings, finishing, and assembly processes
