Main responsibilities: Oversee daily store and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods Enforce adherence to company procurement policies and procedures Maintain accurate inventory control by tracking all incoming and outgoing stock Continuously plan and monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory availability Supervise the accurate processing and recording of invoices, receipts, and delivery documentation Identify and resolve issues such as delivery delays, stock discrepancies, and slow-moving items Ensure timely and precise data entry for all inbound stock into inventory systems Promote safe handling practices to reduce the risk of stock damage or loss Design and maintain efficient storage layouts to optimize space and accessibility Safeguard inventory while maintaining easy access for warehouse operations Conduct routine warehouse audits to assess and improve operational efficiency Keep thorough records of all warehouse activities and maintain organized documentation Lead quarterly stock counts and reconcile results with system records, addressing any variances Analyze inventory trends to predict shortages and potential supply chain disruptions Compile reports on inventory findings and recommend corrective measures Ensure the warehouse environment is consistently clean, orderly, and well-maintained Implement regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy Provide leadership and daily support to warehouse team members to meet performance goals Prepare and justify capital and strategic expenditure requests for operational improvements Uphold workplace discipline, addressing issues such as absenteeism, timekeeping, and misconduct Ensure compliance with all health, safety, security, and environmental regulations Foster a positive and productive work environment within the warehouse team Consultant: Jessie Gomes – Dante Personnel Greenstone
