About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team in Paarl. As the head of our restaurant, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading teams across front- and back-of-house, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. With a strong background in hospitality and specialty coffee, we are looking for someone who can drive success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily opening and closing procedures
- Scheduling staff and managing inventory control
- Assist with payroll and budget management
- Lead and support department heads and supervisors
- Handle escalated complaints and maintain a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in café or restaurant management
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Sound financial understanding, including P&L responsibility
- Passion for hospitality and specialty coffee
- Coffee roasting knowledge or experience is highly beneficial but not required
