Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support their payroll operations. Responsibilities: Process monthly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using Sage 300. Ensure accurate employee data management and timesheet recording. Compute wages and salary adjustments while adhering to company policies. Handle payroll queries promptly and professionally, liaising with internal and external parties. Prepare and distribute payslips, IRP5s, and other payroll documentation. Perform payroll-related month-end procedures, including importing batches and generating reports. Maintain compliance with labor legislation and ensure confidentiality of payroll information. Support the preparation of monthly income statements and balance sheet items for management reporting. Conduct filing and scanning of payroll documents and undertake ad-hoc payroll duties as required. Key Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify numerical errors. Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS software, preferably Sage 300. Excellent time-management skills and ability to handle confidential information. Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills for query resolution. Proficient in MS Excel and adept at learning and using company personnel systems. Good knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes. 35 years of experience in a similar payroll administration role. Report writing skills and strong math skills are advantageous. Qualifications: Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Payroll, or Human Resources.

Process timesheets. Accurately calculate all payments and deductions (increases and leave payments) Manage statutory deductions (PAYE, UIF, WCA, garnishee orders, loans etc.) Maintain payroll records. Address employee pay queries. Liaise with HR Department. Ensure timely and proactive payroll management.
