About the Role

We are seeking a charismatic and energetic Club V attendant to join our team at Virgin Active Pietermaritzburg. As a key member of our childcare department, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging environment for our young members while ensuring the overall well-being and safety of all children in our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Correctly control and manage electronic access and exit of all Club V members to the Club V facility.
• Manage all access cards, ensuring they are valid and contain all relevant information.
• Effectively manage the 2 consecutive hour rule.
• Follow the monthly activity roster and theme correctly.
• Plan activities and execute them on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure you are informed and adhere to all emergency procedures in a competent fashion.
• Correctly meet operational standards and requirements, understanding all aspects of the role.
• Maintain control of the Club V environment.
• Report any incidents immediately to your MOD and/or Club V Co-ordinator.
• Control stock within the Club V facility, including toys, arts & crafts, disposables/consumables, cleaning aids, movement equipment, games, puzzles, books, etc.

Requirements

• A clear criminal check-up to date.
• Up-to-date first aid training.
• Up-to-date in-house Club V Training.
• Up-to-date Active Play Training.
• Affinity for children.
• Ability to entertain children.
• Ability to conduct physical games and activities with confidence.
• Ability to learn and implement new junior programs.
