Our client is seeking a skilled and hands-on Production Process Technician to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, process-engineering capability, and proven experience within a manufacturing environment—particularly in plastics, rubber, or silicone injection/extrusion. Provide technical oversight to supervisors and setters to ensure safe and proper use of production equipment. Lead troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives on various injection moulding equipment. Diagnose and resolve machine and setting issues across equipment such as: Plasma cutting HPDC Plastic injection CNC setting & programming Rubber injection Liquid silicone injection Ensure dies and machines are set correctly to maximise production efficiency. Liaise with the toolroom to ensure dies are maintained, serviced, and production-ready; conduct basic tool maintenance where required. Maintain equipment to ensure optimal product quality. Train, support, and mentor setters and supervisors. Provide feedback and improvement suggestions to production, toolroom, and maintenance teams. Review and optimise processes continuously. Develop or improve jigging to enhance product quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies. Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management. Main responsibility for troubleshooting and process improvements on various injection moulding equipment. 4. Troubleshoot machine and setting issues and solve or diagnose where possible. This includes plasma cutting, HPDC, plastic injection, CNC setting & programming, rubber injection, liquid silicon injection. 5. Ensure dies and machines are correctly set to maximise production output. 6. Communicate with toolroom to ensure dies are well maintained and serviced. Conduct basic maintenance of tools. 7. Ensure dies and machines are in good order to ensure the best quality products. 8. Oversee, train and mentor setters and supervisors where required. 9. Feedback improvement suggestions to toolroom, maintenance & production 10. Review processes to improve where possible. 11. Creating and improving jigging where applicable to improve quality. 12. Actively seek to continuously improve relevant processes through application of Lean tools. 13. Any other reasonable instruction from the direct reporting manager.
