Breakfast Chef

Job Description:

As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards. Your duties will include:

Job Duties:

• Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes such as eggs, bacon, sausages, and pastries
• Ensuring that all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations
• Monitoring and managing kitchen stock levels
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth breakfast service

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
• Knowledge of breakfast food preparation techniques
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment

Education:

Formal culinary training or relevant qualification preferred

Experience:

Previous experience working as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of breakfast food trends
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience working in a hotel or restaurant setting

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and may be required to work early morning shifts. Weekend and holiday work may be necessary.
