About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our lodge in Polokwane, responsible for ensuring seamless hospitality operations and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management, with 710 years of experience in senior leadership roles, and a proven track record of operational, financial, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the lodge, including front of house, F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
- Lead HR processes and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Utilize property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office to drive efficiency.
- Foster a customer-focused environment with a professional and approachable demeanor.
Requirements
- 710 years of experience in hospitality management or similar senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record in operational, financial, and staff management.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, including front of house, F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance.
