Requirements: Qualifications: A Technical Matric is essential. A Tool/Die Maker trade certification will be considered a strong advantage. Experience and Skills: Minimum of 2 years experience in the rotary die cutting and/or toolmaking industry. Basic knowledge of mechanics and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Attributes: Willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required. Proactive, responsible, and reliable. Capable of working independently and taking initiative. Strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and maintain dies prior to use to ensure operational readiness. Manage die repair materials and ensure availability at all times. Follow up on the status of die orders and ensure timely updates. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date register of all dies, including their condition. Perform regular re-racking and inspection of dies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the die room. Support the sales team in ordering new dies. Liaise with the Graphic Artist regarding new job specifications.
