About the Role
The Director: ICT Security, Risk and Compliance will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, monitoring, compliance, evaluation of impact and support prescripts on ICT Security, Risk and Compliance in the Public Service. The successful candidate will create an enabling environment for effective and efficient delivery of e-Government Services and Information Management by developing prescripts and systems for ICT Security, Risk and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development of prescripts on ICT Security, Risk and Compliance.
- Manage the Provisions of implementation Support to Departments.
- Manage the monitoring of implementation and compliance.
- Manage all the Operations, Systems and Processes of the Directorate.
- Create an enabling environment for effective and efficient delivery of e-Government Services and Information Management by developing prescripts and systems for ICT Security, Risk and Compliance.
Requirements
- Matric
- B. Degree in ICT or related qualification within same field (at NQF level 7).
- Minimum 5 years at a middle/senior management level.
- Minimum 8 years appropriate experience in the ICT Security/Risk environment.
Qualifications
- Certification in information security practice.
Knowledge of
- Constitution of the Republic of South Africa.
- The Government Legislative Framework.
- The Public Service Legislative and Policy Framework.
- Government programs action such as the National Development Plan.
- The key Strategic Priorities of Government, and a sound understanding of Operations management.
