About the Role

Parts Incorporated Africa is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our Pretoria branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our sales teams, setting sales targets, analyzing data, and developing training programs to drive maximum results. If you have a strong background in sales management and excellent leadership skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales planning function, which includes designing, developing, and implementing all tools and procedures involved in the successful utilization of resource sale process
  • Apply the company’s vision and business strategies to potential sales channels, develop new growth opportunities, and assist in setting sales targets
  • Develop and implement systems to accurately forecast revenue generation, unit demands, and the flow of orders to the Company
  • Supervise sales personnel, including recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution
  • Manage exceptions to expectations
  • Perform monthly feedback sessions with all sales staff and provide a quarterly review of branch performance in relation to actual budgeted quarterly performance figures

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the automotive aftermarket industry
  • Previous experience in a Sales Manager/Sales Representative/Key Accounts role, preferably in the automotive industry or related business
  • Skilled in budget preparation and financial management
  • Must have a hands-on operating style
  • Ability to lead a sales team
  • Good knowledge of the company’s customer base
  • A good understanding of the Labour Relations Act and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act would be an advantage
  • Willingness to spend time and effort on aligning branch objectives to customers’ needs, which will require traveling and overnight stay from time to time
