Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• System Development & Maintenance:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize internal business systems.
• Ensure system security, efficiency, and scalability.
• Database Management:
• Manage and maintain SQL databases, including data integrity and security.
• Set up and optimize relational databases for various operational needs.
• Software Integration & Automation:
• Work with Sage Evolution, Microsoft Access, SQL databases, Smartsheet, Excel, Connecteams, and Pipedrive to streamline business processes.
• Implement API integrations between various platforms.
• Set up standard operating procedures
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Develop Power BI reports and dashboards to support business intelligence.
• Create automated data visualizations for decision-making.
• Mobile & Web Application Development (Advantageous):
• Develop and maintain mobile applications to support business operations.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility for different user requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Senior Certificate (Essential)
• Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Preferred)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in system development and database management
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal) Competencies & Technical Skills:
• Strong SQL database knowledge and management
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Must Provide Proof of Competency)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access (Essential)
• Experience with Smartsheets (Essential)
• Power BI Reporting Expertise
• Have their own transport to and from the office. If required to travel for work a fleet vehicle will be allocated.
