Qualifications & Experience: Accounting qualification required Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in a similar industry (FMCG) Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and statutory compliance Systems & Tools: Pastel Accounting Abaserve Microsoft Office Suite Skills & Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities: Preparing and managing financial statements for various departments up to trial balance Performing management accounting and cost control functions Submitting all statutory returns and corresponding with SARS Ensuring compliance with internal audit procedures Maintaining the asset register and monitoring asset transactions Managing ad-hoc financial tasks, including payments and cash flow Weekly reporting of financial figures to management Supporting a small administrative team and collaborating across departments Maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and performing under pressure in a fast-paced environment
