Africa Moja Tours & Safaris a leading tour operator offering African safari packages, cultural experiences, and tailor-made holidays is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.Record all financial transactions accurately in accounting software.Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and supplier payments.Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper supporting documentation.Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements.Maintain up-to-date records of petty cash, staff claims, and expense reports.Support the Senior Accountant in preparing for annual audits and tax submissions.Ensure compliance with company financial policies and South African accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).Liaise with internal departments (operations, reservations, and HR) regarding payments, budgets, and expenses.Assist with budget monitoring and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
