Key Responsibilities New business quotations and policy alterations Policy development and issuing Review insurance applications for necessary information and accuracy Premium calculation Explain policy terms and conditions to clients and provide guidance on risk management Provide notifications of accounts in arrears to clients and follow up on payments Policy retentions Processing cancelation instructions from clients and insurers where retention is not possible Annual renewals and policy reviews Document management and record keeping Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of insurance processes Engage in continuous learning and development Adherence to company standard operating procedures and service level agreements Experience and Qualification Minimum 7 years of commercial underwriting experience in a binder broker environment Candidate is required to have their RE5 certificate, relevant NQF qualification and CPD points Must have experience in Marine & Engineering Insurance Previous experience with Cardinal C360 is a requirement Must be proficient in Word and Excel Candidate must have their own transport Location Fourways, Gauteng
