Location: Nelspruits- Mpumalanga Requirements: Professional Registered non negotiable Quantity Surveyor qualification Consulting experience/background highly essential Minimum 3 years of experience Responsibilities: Managing the costs and contracts of construction projects Ensuring that costs remain within budget and meet quality standards Responsible for cost planning, risk analysis, financial reporting, and managing procurement Advise on various financial and contractual matters, from project inception to completion Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial reports, tracking project cash flow, and managing accounts Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including tender documents and bills of quantities. Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Identifying potential commercial risks and developing strategies to minimize their impact on project costs and timelines Procurement: Advising on procurement strategies, selecting materials and subcontractors, and managing contracts Valuation and Payment: Measuring and valuing work in progress, ensuring accurate and timely payments to subcontractors, and managing variations Dispute Resolution: Acting as a neutral party in resolving disputes between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders Project Monitoring and Reporting: Tracking project progress, analyzing outcomes, and providing budget/progress reports to clients Feasibility Studies: Conducting feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed projects Client Liaison: Collaborating with clients to understand their needs, provide advice on cost-effective solutions, and manage their expectations How to apply:
