Simon’s Town: Housekeeper

Qualifications Matric / Grade 12 (advantageous, but not always required). Housekeeping or hospitality training (advantageous). Experience 12 years housekeeping experience in a hotel, lodge, hospital, or similar environment. Experience in maintaining cleaning standards and handling cleaning equipment. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and methods. Understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards. Ability to follow checklists, schedules, and room standards. Basic understanding of laundry processes. Core Competencies Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility. Personal Attributes Honest, trustworthy, and well-presented.
