Site Electrical Supervisor
Key Responsibilities: Project Supervision Monitor and coordinate all electrical activities on the construction site. Ensure that all electrical works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Monitor the progress of electrical works and ensure that project timelines are met. Site Management Oversee the daily operations of electrical teams and subcontractors. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly. Quality Implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship. Monitor that Quality Plans are followed Conduct inspections and tests on electrical installations and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance Ensure all electrical activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, and promote a culture of safety on-site. Implement and enforce safe work practices and procedures. Coordination and Communication Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project coordination. Communicate project progress, challenges, and updates to the construction manager and other relevant parties. Participate in project meetings and provide input on electrical engineering aspects of the project. Resource Management Ensure that all resources are used efficiently and effectively to meet project objectives. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all electrical activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection reports. Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, highlighting any issues or delays. Ensure all project documentation is properly filed and accessible. Technical Support Provide technical guidance and support to electrical engineering teams and subcontractors. Assist in the resolution of technical issues and challenges that arise during construction. Ensure that all technical solutions are feasible and align with project requirements. Requirements: Trade certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering as a minimum requirement. Minimum of 5 years of relevant practical experience in on-site electrical supervision, preferably within the renewable energy or construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical principles, construction methods, and industry standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
