We are looking for a charismatic, service-driven bartender with a strong passion for mixology, luxury hospitality, and guest experience . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment and takes pride in delivering memorable moments through exceptional drinks and polished service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverages in line with hotel standards Deliver warm, engaging, and professional guest service at all times Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation behind the bar Upsell beverages and promote specials to maximise revenue Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations Handle guest queries and complaints confidently and professionally Support events, activations, and themed evenings in collaboration with the F&B team Experience & Requirements Minimum 23 years bartending experience in a luxury hotel, cocktail bar, or high-end restaurant Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and mixology techniques Excellent communication skills and a natural guest-focused approach Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism Strong attention to detail and presentation Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays Experience with POS systems and cash handling Barista or wine knowledge advantageous Why Join The President Hotel Be part of a hotel on a journey toward luxury Work in an iconic setting overlooking the Atlantic Seaboard Supportive team culture with opportunities for growth and development Exposure to high-profile guests, events, and premium service standards Competitive salary and employee benefits About The President Hotel The President Hotels purpose is to create and inspire memorable experiences, with a vision to become Cape Towns most loved hotel .
