General Manager | Luxury Safari Collection | Namibia Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Hospitality General Manager to lead operations across a Luxury Safari Collection in Namibia. This is a live-in role on a working cycle of six weeks on, two weeks off, ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive safari and hospitality management experience. Key Responsibilities · Lead and manage hospitality teams across multiple luxury camps · Develop and implement staff training, progression, and performance programmes · Oversee financial, administrative, and operational management · Drive strategic product and service development initiatives · Ensure consistently high service standards and exceptional guest experiences · Manage front-of-house operations across all camps · Support and guide Camp Managers and management teams · Liaise with guiding and operations teams to improve guest activities and logistics · Handle guest complaints and implement corrective measures · Analyse guest feedback and implement continuous improvement strategies · Manage budgets and provide regular operational and financial reports · Implement and maintain company and lodge standards Requirements · Minimum 7 years’ senior management experience in luxury safari or tourism operations · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, or related field · Strong financial, strategic, and operational management skills · Proven experience in staff training and development · Excellent communication and computer literacy skills · Fluent in English (additional languages advantageous) · Strong understanding of personalised luxury service standards · Professional, reliable, and well-presented · Ability to work long and flexible hours under pressure · Valid driver’s licence and PDP Package & Benefits · Salary: Negotiable DOE · Live-in accommodation (furnished) · Utilities included (gas, water, electricity) · Housekeeping services · Company vehicle usage · Uniforms provided · DSTV and Wi-Fi (subject to availability) · Flights to/from Windhoek (subject to availability) · Medical evacuation cover · Accident medical insurance · Subsidised lodge rates · Pension and medical aid options To Apply Please submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head & shoulders photo Please note: Due to high application volumes, only candidates meeting the requirements will be contacted.
