Job Summary

Reporting: The General Manager (Integrated Services Security & Cleaning) will be reporting directly to the Regional Director. Purpose of the Job: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager (Integrated Services – Security & Cleaning) to oversee and drive our integrated cleaning and security operations. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage complex operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain the highest levels of client satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our security & cleaning teams, ensuring that all aspects of service delivery meet our rigorous standards, while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and safety. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP: Oversee and manage all cleaning and security operations, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds internal standards and client expectations. Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes, systems, and procedures for both cleaning and security services. Ensure all operational activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including ISO standards and industry best practices. Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of security and cleaning professionals to ensure high levels of performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting professional development and providing training programs to enhance team capabilities. Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of operational staff across both cleaning and security departments. CLIENT ENGAGEMENT & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for all service-related matters. Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss service performance, address concerns, and ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. Drive client satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service across both cleaning and security functions. COMPLIANCE & QUALITY ASSURANCE: Ensure adherence to all relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, including health and safety, environmental regulations, and security protocols. Develop and enforce the companys disciplinary policies and code of conduct to ensure high standards of service and employee behavior. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Oversee the preparation and management of operational budgets for both cleaning and security services, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation. Monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement strategies to maximize revenue growth. Work closely with senior management to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational activities. PERFORMANCE MONITORING & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor service delivery, assess operational performance, and identify areas for improvement. Analyze service delivery reports, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain operational excellence. Lead initiatives aimed at improving processes, systems, and service quality in both cleaning and security services. INCIDENT & CRISIS MANAGEMENT: Act as the central escalation point for critical operational issues, including service failures or security incidents. Coordinate incident response and implement corrective actions to mitigate operational disruptions. Ensure timely resolution of issues, minimizing impact on clients and operations. STRATEGIC PLANNING & GROWTH: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategies for operational growth and expansion in both cleaning and security sectors. Support business development efforts by engaging with potential clients, attending meetings, and providing input on new contracts and proposals. Assist in the design and implementation of operational plans for new services and key projects. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelors Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in security and cleaning operations management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large teams and managing complex service environments. Certifications: Relevant certifications in security management, cleaning services, or facilities management are considered an advantage. Strong Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent Leadership and People Management Skills, with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams across both security and cleaning services. Financial Acumen : Ability to manage budgets, cost control, and financial reporting effectively. In-depth Understanding of Regulatory Requirements and compliance standards in both the security and cleaning industries. Experience in Client Relationship Management and delivering exceptional service to clients. Analytical Abilities to analyze data and drive performance improvements, ensuring operational excellence across both industries. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the business. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with a focus on resolving operational issues in a timely manner. Client Focus: Commitment to high client satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships. Compliance & Quality Assurance: In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry best practices. Operational Excellence: Proven track record in improving operational systems, processes, and performance metrics. Financial Management: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and cost management within service-based operations
