About the Role
We’re hiring a highly experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the strategic direction of sales, marketing, and revenue performance at our contemporary 4-star property in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Set in the picturesque region, this hotel blends timeless elegance with exceptional hospitality, seeking an expert to drive market growth, identify new business opportunities, and position the hotel as a preferred destination for corporate, leisure, and group travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
- Drive new business across corporate, leisure, MICE, and group segments
- Lead and inspire a small, dynamic team including the Digital Marketing Coordinator
- Strengthen client relationships through proactive sales calls, site inspections, and partnerships
- Oversee digital and traditional marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement
- Collaborate closely with Revenue, Operations, and Reservations to ensure service excellence
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing management (4- or 5-star environment preferred)
- Proven success in achieving revenue and market share growth
- Strong understanding of corporate, leisure, and MICE markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality Management preferred
