South Africa: INSTALLATION MANAGER posted by Farm Manager SA

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or agricultural engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing field installation teams, preferably in irrigation or construction.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and electrical/mechanical components.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote locations.
• Valid driver’s license

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all installation projects from start to completion.
• Lead the team of technicians and assign daily tasks.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within approved budgets.
• Review project designs, drawings, and specifications before installation.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports and completion certificates.
• Monitor team performance and enforce company safety procedures.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for materials and equipment.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and quality control.
• Report project progress and challenges to management on a regular basis.
